Dining facilities were excellent, delicious food. Grounds were beautiful, including the pool.

With garden views, Kuyana Amazon Lodge is set in Archidona and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We loved our stay at Kuyana, the location is amazing, surround by the jungle. The rooms are huge and make the most of the amazing surroundings, I loved sitting on the terrace watching the butterflies and humming birds. We enjoyed the waterfall walk accompanied by Edison who was very knowledgeable and friendly, and also Romona the rescue woolly monkey who hitched a ride on my husbands shoulders, she’s adorable. We also took the Amazon safari day trip which we enjoyed, especially the canoe around the lagoon and visit to the rescue monkeys on the island. Highly recommend for 3 nights.

Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport is 198 km away. Hotel is centrally located in small town of Puerto Misahualli within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Nice view on Napo river. Especially we liked a trip to Ceibo lodge (it is their second property). Ceibo lodge is more luxurious experience with excellent food and well designed program. Alberque hotel is more basic, but still is a very nice place and excellent value for money. Hotel manager Theo and all guides were super helpful.
