Really cute family run hotel off the main square of Latacunga. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. They stored our bags for free whilst we hiked the Quilotoa Loop in a locked area. Staff spoke no English but were very eager to have a chat anyway with our very limited Spanish.

Amazing hostal on the Quilotoa loop (where they are also doing a fantastic job at signposting!). We felt really at home and learned a lot about local life. The room was spacious, comfy and clean and we had great dinner and breakfast, even sampling some local blueberry wine.

Great place to stay en route to Quilotoa. We were upgraded from a dorm to a private room which was very spacious and comfortable. Sauna and steam room well worth it. Staff were lovely. Breakfast and dinner were nice.

Friendly staff, great food, easy to get vegan dinner and breakfast. Very quiet area, comfy bed, lovely views. Free refills of water bottles with filtered, good tasting water. We went to the Sauna and Steam Room which was amazing! Fresh Eucalyptus leaves in the Steam Room are the best you can have after a day of hiking. Hammocks and lots of opportunities to sit and relax. Lovely garden.

Comfortable clean rooms, hot shower, strong WiFi, plenty of food provided for evening meal and breakfast. Free tea, coffee and water refill plus more on menus for extra cost. Turkish spa is $3.

Amazing place to rest! The family is really nice and friendly. They offer sauna and Turkish bath on demand, cheap and nice to relax. The rooms are clean and the beds extremely comfortable!! I also enjoyed the hammock. Food is good and they have vegetarian options.

Incredible value for money! Dinner (3 courses) and breakfast were fantastic. This was the best breakfast (pancakes, fruit and yoghurt, egg, bread, juice) we had this whole trip. We even partook in the sauna (although the Turkish bath was not working at the time) and had a great rest before finishing our final day trekking to Quilotoa.

Everything about this hostel is excellent! Rooms are REALLY nice, clean, big comfy beds, quiet and spacious. Amazing vegetarian dinners and breakfasts, super friendly staff, great sauna and steam room, huge games room and really sociable. This was one of our favourite hostels we’ve been to!
