Galdu Hotel is the reason I came to Saariselkä , and will certainly be the reason I return. The hotel is incredibly chic, luxurious and modern, yet still feels wonderfully warm and welcoming. The food deserves a special mention: we stayed for three days and didn’t eat anywhere else, simply because the food was outstanding. The sauna is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, absolutely perfect for après-ski. It’s clear that the owners, Nora and Jermu, have poured their heart and soul into this place. They go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home and ensure everyone has the best possible experience. From arranging special activities over Christmas to offering lifts and thoughtfully recommending ethical tours, their care and generosity really stood out. The staff are equally wonderful. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Milla, who we already miss! Even though we didn’t manage to see the Northern Lights this time due to the storm, this was still one of the best holidays I’ve ever had— entirely thanks to Galdu Hotel and everyone we've met there!

We spend a relaxing long weekend at Valo Ice Cubes in February. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every level and we have not experienced similar in the Alps or in the other Nordic countries where we have travelled in the past. We were warm welcomed by staff who briefly introduced us all the necessary information about the villa and answered to our questions that we had about local activities etc. The villa and furniture has been designed by Finnish designers and the items ranging from limited edition Marimekko tableware to locally manufactured soaps. The views from the living room are spectacular and on the first night we managed to spot Northern Lights from there. Also from both master bedrooms you can find a dedicated window for spotting the Northern Lights and the views from the sauna are amazing. The location of the villa is convenient. The slopes are located next to main entrance and we were able to ski directly from the Villa. Also our wishes were exceeded for example on Saturday evening we wanted to eat a dinner at the Villa and we were offered a delicious locally reindeer dish with a appetizer and desert. Overall we had a really nice stay and would definitely come there again in the future.

Objekat Saariselän Marjamajat Apartment Sopuli je smešten u gradu Sariselka, u regiji Lapland Finska i ima terasu i pogled na planinu. Smeštaj nudi besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. Cottage was in a calm and safe location. Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

The entry was convenient, we received the location and code for the keys well in advance. The location of the cabin is great, with its own parking, which is needed to get to the town center. The house is spacious, the living is beautiful and the kitchen has all the utensils you need (cutting boards, pans and pots,…).

Located a 15-minute drive from central Saariselkä, this hotel features rooms with mountain views of Kiilopää or Ahopää. It offers free sauna access and a relaxation room with a library and fireplace. calm, reachable by bus, no driving required, great nature great activities!

The heating works very well, the beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. The floors are heated and there are additional radiators in each room. There is also a clear instruction on how to start the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and there is a large refrigerator. Everything was simply wonderful! The hosts replied quickly and were always very helpful and responsive. There is a transfer from Ivalo Airport that drops you off right on the street where the house is located. It’s also very convenient that there is a drying cabinet where you can dry your clothes after being out in the snow. The supermarket is about a 15-minute walk from the house. We would be happy to stay here again! The area is very quiet and peaceful — a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Offering self-catering, cottage-like apartments in Saariselkä, with ski-to-door access to trails. Saariselkä ski lifts are 2 km away. WiFi and parking are free. Location was nice and quiet - while not in the very centre of town it was a very easy walk to restaurants, shops, skiing and trails. Also very short walking distance and easy access to the bus stop to the airport (or from Inari). Apartment had everything you would need. Beds were nice and comfy. Kristiina was a great and helpful host and self check in was very simple.

Offering ski-in ski-out access, Castillo Kelotähti Apartment is a self-catering accommodation in Saariselkä. The Ski Saariselkä ski lifts are just 1.2 km away. Beautifully clean, loved the sauna, cooking facilities, minutes away from restaurants and hiking routes!
