The staff were exceptional and all the experiences are thoughtful and memorable. The food was always delightful and we loved our time here.

The room was spacious and airy as was the bathroom. There was a large deck overlooking the beautiful plantings from which we could hear and view birds all day. The restaurant is terrific - they seemed willing and able to prepare almost anything asked for - and the serving sizes enormous! Due to no fault of their own, safaris were banned in Karnataka and they are willing to drive you over the border to Kerala. We hope that government ban is soon lifted. Even without those, there were many opportunities to observe the flora and fauna with expert guides. It was a relaxing and delightful experience with ample staff and friendly guests who shared social time. The only caution is for anyone with physical disabilities: there is significant walking and stair climbing required to get around the property.

The staff were extremely helpful, warm, and attentive, which made the stay even more comfortable. Hands down one of the best staycations I’ve had—highly recommended!

Set in Somvārpet, Ayatana Coorg features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, garden, and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We loved the location of our room. It was very quiet and was facing the green plantations. The balcony was very big and we enjoyed spending time there. The food was also very good and the buffet spread was humongous.
