The hotel went out of their way to accommodate our two children with small slippers and little gifts, that we were not at all expecting. It made them feel welcome and was a lovely gesture. The bathroom was also equipped to handle the needs of smaller users, which was great! The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. The location was very comfortable, within walking distance of all the most important things to see in Ravenna. Finding a parking spot in the vicinity was very easy and inexpensive.

We stayed one night and everything was excellent. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a benefit for us as we were tired after a long journey from Canada’s west coast. The front desk manager was very helpful- he arranged the payment for our on-street parking spot (the hotel also has its own parking garage), and personally brought extra towels to our room and fixed a connection problem with the wi-fi as well. The restaurant dinner was good and the free breakfast selections were outstanding- the best we’ve ever found in Italy.

El Grand Hotel Terme cuenta con jardín, salón compartido, terraza y restaurante en Riolo Terme. The staff of the hotel were exceptional. We had to cut our trip short due to personal reasons and the staff were extremely understanding and friendly, we ended up not paying any extras due to the last minute cancellation but left with wonderful memories of the hotel, the restaurant and the thermal baths. We hope to come back soon to spend more time here.

I once saw a banner above the reception desk in an American hotel that said “The answer is yes, now what is your question?” This hotel has exactly the same attitude towards customer service, which is rare. Every single member of staff were completely dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. The decor was so nice, the rooms full of comfort, the spa small but very well designed, the massages sublime. Food was varied, interesting and delicious. The tranquility was amazing, I am a bad sleeper but managed almost 9 hours, unheard of. I am already planning my next trip back.
