Hotel was 5 stars nothing to complain or that we would have missed. So clean room made our stay wonderfull. And the view!!! Hotel restaurants were all so good. This 5-star design hotel is set in a quiet tree-lined boulevard in a residential area in the heart of Genoa, a 10-minute walk from the main shopping street XX Settembre and city centre. Melia hotel is super! Personal, comfort! Clean, beautiful inside and outside, pleasure even to watch this space. Room (superior) and beds was spacious and comfortables! Breakfast is perfect! Featuring panoramic views of Portofino Bay, Excelsior Palace is a luxury 5-star hotel offering 2 restaurants, sun terraces and spacious rooms, many with sea views. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Excelsior Palace in Rapallo. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and smiles. The service was excellent, our room was clean, and the view was breathtaking. The hotel is in a fantastic location; within just a few minutes, we found ourselves in the city centre, enjoying a lovely walk. There is plenty of outdoor and underground parking, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Everything else turned out to be a delightful bonus.

Felt very safe and secure throughout 4 night stay.

The breakfast was outstanding. The dinner we had was also lovely. It is a very nice place to stay -- super cute and modern with a lovely view of La Spezia. It was a little hard to find and it is a hike from the train station but that's what makes it so enchanting.
