The hotel was well located within walking distance to many of the main tourist sites. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The staff truly make this hotel special. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and attentive, with genuine care shown to guests at all times. Nothing felt rushed or transactional — just calm, gracious service throughout the stay. The pool area is a tranquil oasis, perfect for escaping the heat, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a great mix of international options and local flavors, all served in a beautiful setting. Settha Palace Hotel strikes a rare balance between luxury, history, and comfort. Breakfast was nice with egg station and noodle station. Different pastries, yogurts, cold cuts and salads. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant is on top floor with plenty of lights and good view over the city. Hotel is very new and sparkly clean. Beautiful building with an amazing rooftop space. Spacious and luxurious rooms. Free minibar (including Beerlao) was a pleasant touch. Bathroom is huge and well appointed.

Wonderful hotel - great staff. The location is in a wonderful part of town with the night market nearby and plenty of restaurants and bars. Our room was extremely comfortable. A great value for money compared to some of the other more expensive hotels nearby. We spend some time at the pool which was nice (comfortable lounge chairs, wonderful view of the city, pool side service for food and drinks). We decided to have a few drinks in the evening after dinner on the top floor. Great views - not too crowded. We had some food by the pool (sashimi, spring rolls) and was very good. Didn't opt for the breakfast as went to some cafes around the corner (Coco & Co for great breakfasts). We would recommend the Mantra if looking for a nicer hotel that is still a great value.
