Czech RepublicA marvellous hotel hidden in the hills. The view from the swimming pool really is as it is shown on the photos! Breakfast was with a large selection of everything, dinner was available, too. Room was very cosy with a full glass wall looking out into the green, and the bed was great to get proper rest. And of course, all the staff people were very hospitable.

In the jungle while also being close to the city center (~2.5km), manager is a sweet guy always willing to help and provide assistance. No AC on room but because of the ‘natural AC’ (trees) we did not need it.
Rooms spacious and clean, beds find and nice breakfast too. Visiting Kandy 1 full day is enough (nice experience)

Lovely design of room - spacious & modern. Whole resort was fantastic. Lovely quiet location overlooking a lake. Illy coffee machine in the room. Breakfast & dinner menus were varied and tasty

You'll love this place if you enjoy being surrounded by greenery. The service was amazing; everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool was great, and the view from the pool was stunning. We had a wonderful time staying there. The food was also good. We ordered breakfast to our room, and the way it was wrapped and delivered shows how much they value their service

Very special note n thanks and appreciate for staff front office n lobby. Very honest and helpful staff .. after check in i forget my mobile phone @ Lobby n go to room ..but soon after lovely hotel staff member knocked my room n given my phone to 🤗.. until she came i dnt know that i forget phone .. thanks who worked on 1st June 2024 nite shift 👍🤝❤

The Albatross is a stunning property with beautiful, unobstructed views overlooking Victoria Dam. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
The food was superb, we enjoyed authentic Sri Lankan dishes for dinner and lighter sandwiches and omelettes for breakfast and lunch - both were 10/10! The chef catered to my vegetarian diet which was highly appreciated.
The hosts at the hotel were so kind and accommodating. We felt really well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly host. I did an unplanned last minute booking in this property and arrived in the evening. I got a whole apartment with external bathroom and balcony in a very quiet area. I only stayed 1 night, so I did not cook (the kitchen is very simple). The bus connection is very good, although you have to walk up the hill (aprox. 100m). The apartment is simple but with a lot of space and very quiet. Definitely a good alternative to Kandy city, which is very busy and polluted.

loved my stay! the staff are so kind and helpful, the location is quiet (book a room facing the back) yet in the middle of everything Kandy. Hqta a relaxing stay! Spa ceylon toiletries, great tea in the room, a small surprise in the fridge… They arranged a train station transfer for me and packed me a delicious breakfast. Just always ready to help and be welcoming!
