The local and Indian food are yum. One of the best accommodation we can recommend for anyone. Rooms are so spacious and bathroom with new utilities. 10mins walking distance to the beach. A really great place to stay literally 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes to the nearest restaurant. The gardens are beautiful and a real oasis away from the sun and heat. Thines was extremely helpful and the room was great.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel is very good. Room is clean and spacious. The view on the bay is gorgeous. It’s relatively close to the beach and the ocean in this area is very clean and warm. We spent here 4 nights with our 3 years old son and we all had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive. I especially want to highlight the man at the pool area and the guys from the restaurant, especially Kirujan , who was very helpful with all our needs. The food was delicious and varied. Definitely recommend this hotel. From what we’ve seen that’s probably the best resort in the area.

Nilaveli Beach Resort is set on the bronzed sands of Nilaveli Beach. This tranquil resort welcomes guests with a private beach area, cosy guestrooms and free internet access at all public areas. What’s not to like.. amazing location with literally a private beach to ourselves as there are no other resorts nearby, incredible bungalow right on the beach front, a nice and clean swimming pool overlooking the beach, good quality, food, and excellent value, and very friendly staff all across the property

Excellent location - right at the beach, we loved the sea view! The beach is phenomenal, not overcrowded and fine sand- and there are hammocks and some basic, self-built sun lounges. Near restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, yet a bit away from the main streets, so the music from the nearby bars/discos is less loud, but good choice and variety- we wanted to stay in a place where you can eat in multiple different reataurants. That said, very nice breakfast and also overall hotel restaurant food, like in most places in Sri Lanka, bring lots of time, it is slow and laid back, but you are rewarded with delicious dishes. The restaurant kitchen can be looked into and it is clean and of higher standard than elsewhere. The staff, esp. the manager on duty / head waiter was extremely kind. Spacious room with good AC and plenty of space, convenient shelves. No mosquito nets- but also no mosquitoes! That made it very comfortable. We would have much prefered wooden floor or tiles though, instead of the carpet in the room, for hygiene reasons. We got onward car transportation arranged through the hotel, which worked reliably- can recommend. We had a wonderful time chilling in the hammocks, swimming and enjoying the beach.

I enjoyed a comfortable room just two minutes from the beach. The Sri Lankan food was excellent, offering dishes like rice and curry and fresh seafood. They had various breakfast options, including hoppers, milk rice, and more. I particularly loved the tuna with fried rice; it was truly delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring I had everything I needed.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The family is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is very tasty and the garden is beautiful, perfect to start the day refreshed! We recommend Pranu without hesitation :)

Objekat Natraj Guest House, koji je smešten u gradu Trinkomale, na 1 min. What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment I have stayed at a dozen hotels in uppuweli alasgarden beach road trincomalee srilanka.
