Recommendation if you are staying for 3-4 days in Malta and have a rental car.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Gomerino Hotel. From the moment I arrived, it just felt right. The welcome was warm and genuine, not forced, and that set the tone for the entire stay. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. After long days exploring Malta, coming back to such a calm and cozy space felt like a treat every single time. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in while traveling, and the little touches throughout the room showed real attention to detail. Breakfast quickly became something I looked forward to each morning. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and there was plenty of choice without it feeling overwhelming. Sitting there, unhurried, starting the day on such a positive note was one of my favorite parts of the stay. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt natural and kind, like they genuinely cared that you were having a good experience. Whether it was giving tips on where to go or just checking in to see how your day had been, it never felt rushed or impersonal. The rooftop area was another highlight — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to unwind while taking in the views. The location is also spot on: central enough to explore easily, but quiet enough to feel like a true escape. By the time I left, Gomerino didn’t feel like just a hotel anymore. It felt like a place I’d happily return to, and one I’ll be recommending to friends without hesitation.

The hotels appearance was amazing, our room had an amazing view. Check in was very good thanks to Franklin who was extra helpful and bar staff were friendly and made excellent cocktails. The Manager also was friendly and helpful. Best place ever to stay. Well done team you all are fabulous.

The Waterfront Hotel is set in central Malta, along the sea promenade of Sliema, and features views of Sliema's port, the Manoel Island and Valletta. The room was well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. This facility also had very friendly staff.

Set in the heart of St Julians, InterContinental Malta is 200 metres from its own free private beach on St. George's Bay. It offers spacious rooms with free WiFi access and balcony. My experience at was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself was stunning—elegant, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. Breakfast? Honestly, it was out of this world—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully curated. I can confidently say it was one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like a small luxury. But what made this stay truly unforgettable was the concierge team. They recommended a trip to the island of Gozo—and I can’t thank them enough. That day turned into one of the most magical experiences of our lives. We created memories we never thought we’d have, the kind you only see in movies or dream about on quiet nights. It was surreal. This trip wasn’t just a getaway—it was a core memory. And IHG played a huge part in making it happen. I can’t wait to come back.
