Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk is located in Eelderwolde, directly next to the A7 highway. Groningen is 4 km from the hotel and guests can enjoy the restaurant. Good size room that was very comfortable. Good ambiance overall, and Park & Ride bus facility at the doorstep to the city centre. Good breakfast too, with excellent service attitude from all team members. As a hotelier myself, I can tell that this is a very well run hotel, and compliments to the Management, & team.

What a great place to stay, host were friendly, great location, no noisy traffic, weather was windy and raining but cabin inside warm, cosy and quiet, comfortable beds, breakfast was excellent.

Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers numerous treatments, baths and massages. The wellnessresort is located a 2-minute drive from the A7 and offers free parking. Incredible. 🥵 The Wellness aspect is second to non. Saunas are excellent, as are the pools. The relaxation vibe is next level. I have stayed in the hotel 6 times, and I have never been disappointed.

This place is very unique, a beautiful quirky setting in a wonderful area. Wilma was a great host & very proactive with making sure we were comfortable. Would certainly stay again (but for longer next time) & will be telling our friends too.

The friendliness, character. I am a lone cycle tourer. A great place to overnight. The room had everything, even a washing machine. A safe shed to the rear for my bike. The bar was lively and friendly. Good food, beer and back ground music
