We had a premium room which was very large, king sized bed was extremely comfortable and we used the indoor pool and sauna. Was a great central location with lots of restaurants. Two minute walk to Clerigos tower and 15 minute walk to river.

Staff at the 24-hour front desk speak English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Location was excellent, in walking distance to everything. Staff were super friendly. Fab shower and bed was unbelievably comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Octant Douro is set in the southern margin of the Douro River, km 41 of the N222 road. It is 10 km from the centre of Castelo de Paiva, 40 km from Porto, 60 km from Porto International Airport and 160 km from the Spanish border. It was all in the details: the most wonderful stay. My only regret is not staying longer.
