Sungarden Golf & Spa Resort was the last evening of our trip to Romania. We'd hoped to use all the wonderful spa facilities but we were very tired and ended up not leaving the room. We ordered room service and the food was delicious, it was some of the best food we'd had during our 17-night trip to Romania.

This resort was so much more than an equestrian’s paradise. Aside from the indoor and outdoor equestrian arenas there were tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a vineyard, a small but serviceable gym, a spa and a fabulous restaurant. The rooms were extremely comfortable, stylish and well planned. The staff were very responsive and eager to show us around the resort.

Initially, upon arrival, the room that was booked was dirty the floor had dirt prints, the bathroom was clogged and the air conditioners was not functioning because there was no remote in the room. When I informed the receptionist, they escalated it to the manager and having acknowledged the mistake, was very generous enough to give us a better alternative room and refund the full amount. It is the empathetic and sincere intentions that counted. I loved the surrounding places— it was magnificent! I shall hope to visit that place someday again. The whole team are very polite and professional.
