Situated in Järvsö Village, by the River Ljusnan, this family-run hotel offers regional cuisine, a large garden and a 9-hole golf course. The dinner was lovely, we had to have something else than the fish sadly (two pregnant ladies and one with allergies) but they fixed it quick and easy and gave us great steak instead! The spa and all help from staff with drinks and anything we asked for was amazing. We got to play in the gazebo with living lights late into the evening and couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast buffet was also great!

Högbo Brukshotell & Spa is situated in a former ironworks area in the village of Högbo, 700 metres from Högbo Golf Club. It offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a range of outdoor activities. The atmosphere at tge hotel was so cosy and warm and the staff very friendly and helpful. The are so many activities to choose from. It's an ideal getaway destination.

Only 150 metres from Gävle’s main square, Stortorget, this central hotell offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Gävle Central Station is 10 minutes’ walk away. The reception staff were so lovely and welcoming on arrival. We were given a complimentary upgrade which really did just make our stay unforgettable. The rooms are beautiful and the location is just a 12 minute walk from the Central Station. Lots of shops and restaurants walking distance. I can’t race enough about the breakfast buffet. Was such an amazing spread with lots of gluten free options. Everything was labelled very well which made it for easy for myself as someone who can’t eat gluten to know what was safe for me to eat. Would 100% stay again and recommend to everyone.
