The service from the management team and all the staff was workd-class. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The menu has good variety. The view is absolutely magnificent. The layout of the hotel is great. The entertainment for the kids is more than sufficient, between a rock pool, indoor pool, foosball table arcade, and PlayStation for the older kids and a very creative and fun playground area for smaller kids. You cannot go wrong booking at this hotel.

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

This guest house offers award-winning cuisine in the tranquil setting of KwaZulu Natal’s Drakensberg Mountains, right on the border of Giants Castle Nature Reserve. The food and the staff were wonderful. The attention to detail was really impressive and the staff Could not have been kinder.

The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, beautiful hiking trails from your door, gorgeous views and grazing zebras in the garden. Communication with Kevin was excellent; he was super responsive and helpful throughout. The house itself was super comfortable and thoughtfully equipped - a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
