The service from the management team and all the staff was workd-class. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The menu has good variety. The view is absolutely magnificent. The layout of the hotel is great. The entertainment for the kids is more than sufficient, between a rock pool, indoor pool, foosball table arcade, and PlayStation for the older kids and a very creative and fun playground area for smaller kids. You cannot go wrong booking at this hotel.

The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.

This guest house offers award-winning cuisine in the tranquil setting of KwaZulu Natal’s Drakensberg Mountains, right on the border of Giants Castle Nature Reserve. This was an amazing weekend, all the staff were awesome. the room (colonial). A whole lot of imagination and hard work went into making the cleopatra the dream location it is. the food was absolutely delicious, while we were eating, the fires in the rooms were lighten so we came back to a cozy warm room. Caster and the rest of the staff made us feel special.

We loved the location, the size of the rooms and the meals included were delicious. The staff are friendly. The activities are plentiful. We could highly recommend the walk to the falls. It was fun to also enjoy the boat on the lake.
