The absolute highlight is the staff, especially the reception team, who are incredibly kind and always smiling. I've stayed at One66 a few times already and have another trip booked! Highly recommended if, like me, you travel a lot and want a place that feels like home in St. Gallen.

Hotel was very clean and had a nice restaurant serving very nice and locally sourced food and drinks. Hotel personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was good too, only 15 minutes walk to the Heerbrugg train station. Overall a very nice place.

Family-run since 4 generations, Landgasthof Seelust is located on the banks of Lake Constance, a 10-minute drive from St. Gallen and a 20-minute drive from Konstanz. Comfortable room, very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and above all, really sweet and helpful staff.

Newstar Hotel is close to the Sankt Gallen-Winkeln exit of the A1 motorway and 5 km from the centre of Sankt Gallen. The staff is excellent. Ramona is the best.

Newly opened in May 2014, this family-run hotel has its own bathing beach and lake terrace. Seehotel BelRiva is situated in Hagnau, on the banks of Lake Constance. Nice location on the lake. Facilities were spotless and breakfast was superb.
