We stayed just one night at LAMP LIGHT BOOKS HOTEL Nagoya to rest before our Ghibli Park visit, and it was absolutely worth it! The hotel is beautifully designed, calm, and perfect for book lovers. We were especially charmed by the book-themed concept, it made the stay feel thoughtful and inspiring. I’m even more motivated now to improve my Japanese so I can enjoy some of the books next time! We were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to see in the city from the hotel. Maybe it's because we love walking, but still, the location is truly great!

The location couldn't have been better! Located close to Osu Shopping Street, with many eateries nearby. Plus, the Osu Kannon Station on the metro subway was just a 10-minute walk away, making travel around Nagoya super easy. There’s even a minimart near the station, which was perfect for grabbing quick snacks and essentials. Additionally, we loved the cute board on the wall in the room that provided information about interesting places nearby, including shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It was such a thoughtful touch and helped us discover some hidden gems in the area! What truly elevated our experience was the staff. They were incredibly polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing our questions. We are a family of five and had the floor to ourselves, the neighbourhood is quiet so it’s a great place to relax for a leisure trip. The couple who owns the inn are very sweet and friendly. We were provided great tea and even a kitchen to cook in. There was even little samurai trinkets around the area, including traditional attire for us to wear and take pictures with. For anyone with a little creative side, there is a book provided at the counter to write about your experiences and draw any doodles.

Staff was really friendly And the Yukata were just beautiful

The staff were lovely and accommodating, the hotel has more than the standard facilities and the parking is free
