You will love the warm and friendly atmosphere they create. This guest house is perfect for newcomers to Japan and for families with children. I highly recommend it!

Eternal Flame features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. The main street of Hakuba Echoland is a 6-minute walk away, and features many restaurants/bars. It was our 2nd stay at the Eternal Flame in two years and once again, we loved every minute. Arrival: Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with a glass of prosecco, while our bags were brought up to the room. As two years ago, we felt very welcomed in a very peaceful environment at the Eternal Flame. Nao then arranged for pick up by the rental gear shop, so that we would be ready for the next morning. Breakfast: Again everyday there was a three-course breakfast. As two years ago I was very pleased that we had Eggs Benedict in the five days we stayed among French Toast, Toast and scrambled eggs/sausage, respectively. Due to being this time during the Lunar New Year, unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the incredible dinner course. Hope that next time, we will be there a bit off-season. Dinner: Based on our experience two years ago, we arranged for dinner reservations (google>table check) beforehand. Nao is also helpful setting up reservations, but it remains a challenge when Hakuba and esp. Echoland is full of tourists. Ski: As before, there is the shuttle bus going to Goryu (Iimori and Hakuba 47) as well as Iwatake. For Goryu reduced price ski passes are organized by Nao, while for Iwatake you would have to purchase them online through the QR code provided. Bathroom: Shared facilities are well maintained and esp. the hot Onsen after a day of skiing was very welcome to relax. Laundry: Eternal Flame provided free laundry, which was very surprising, since I have not come any hotel so far, which would do it for free. Again top notch service. Room: Was rather functional, but we knew what to expect, mattresses have been very comfortably hard. Lounge: Provides coffee, tee, sweets and has comfortable sofas to simply chill out. Will surely stay again at Eternal Flame, when in Hakuba!

Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets are situated in Echoland, a popular nightlife site where more than 30 bars and restaurants can be found. The property offers free in-room WiFi and on-site parking. Location and the chalet is nice

Centrally located in the Echo Land district, Hakuba Echo Hotel and Apartments offers comfortable rooms with mountain views. The shuttles to the major mountains every morning were incredibly convenient and got us there in time for first chair. (Thanks Ryan!)

Happokan is only a 3-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort, and brings its guests cosy Western and Japanese-style rooms, a hot spring bath and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. clean & friendly staff. breakfast was amazing. walking distance to the shuttle bus to access other mountains. 10 mins walk to Happo One with your skis.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple and clean rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Our second time to stay here, we enjoyed our stay here, great services, great dinner, good location, feel like home ! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back in the near future !

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort, Brownie Cottages offers rental ski gear, and apartments and free-standing cottages with free Wi-Fi. Great location, excellent cottages.

Gorgeous, authentic Japanese alpine chalet with spacious bedrooms overlooking the forest. Amazingly friendly and genuine hosts who provide a sumptuous breakfast with homemade spreads and condiments, and daily fresh-baked bread. Cannot recommend more highly. Featuring an indoor and an open-air hot spring bath, Bergtour Marukita offers Japanese-style rooms, free wired internet and Japanese multi-course (kaiseki) dinners. Our stay here was one of the highlights of the trip. First, the location’s super convenient, really close to the main bus terminal where shuttle buses go to and from different ski resorts. There are also shops and restaurant options nearby that are walking distance. Lockers/dry room for snow gear easily accessible after a full day of skiing. The onsen was a great way to relax, especially enjoyed the outdoor bath. Breakfast and dinner were soo good with lots of seasonal and local produce (we recommend trying their homemade jams and pastries☺️) Lastly, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay and even after we left – we accidentally left behind some important items at the hotel and they were kind enough to help us locate and get it back to us. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again!!
