What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

We only stayed for one night, but we were very satisfied. It was very clean. The kitchen equipment was complete. The wooden room’s decoration was very nice. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent apartment and host Tony was always available for help. Apartment had great views of Jungfraujoch mountains. It is 10 min walk from interlaken train station. If lots of luggage use taxi or bus 21 service.

The view is amazing!!!! It was so quiet and relaxing. It was a great base for doing things around Meirgen. We took a train to Lucerne, drove to Bern and stopped at sites along the way. We rode the gondola in Meirigen and walked up to Hasilberg. Again so amazing. The room was large for my family of three. Full kitchen as we cooked supers and made picnic lunches to take on our travels, as Switzerland was a bit pricey. I definitely would stay again.
