He met us at the boat dock and walked us to the property, again for a boat tour we had booked, and again when we left. We had bad internet advice and thought there was an ATM in town, so we were unable to pay in cash as he had requested up front. However he accepted our payment by an alternate method (Tilopay) which we appreciated. The property is full of beautiful tropical plants and is very quiet since it’s at the end of the town’s developed area and is right on the boundary of the National Park. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spider monkeys from the front porch, and could hear Black and White owls at night. We had wonderful views of Great Green Macaws, Keel-billed Toucans, and two-toed sloths in the town. From the casa you are still handy to restaurants and supermercados and fruterías. The kitchen is equipped for cooking meals, and Rodrigo provides good suggestions if you want to eat out. Don’t miss the Sea Turtle Conservancy at the other end of town! Even if it’s not turtle laying or hatching season, the video and displays are excellent. We really enjoyed a guided canoe tour for the two of us with guide Kendall.

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Great and hidden "secret" small boutique accommodation nearby Puerto Viejo del Talamanca (20-30 minutes walk) and Playa Negra (5 minutes walk). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and they gave some good tips and hints e.g. for Cahuita national park visit. The accommodation is in separated houses with one spacious room and huge terrance. Each morning they are serving a coffee at 6:30AM before actual breakfast time (07:30AM). It was to drink coffee in the morning in the terrance and listen the jungle / garden sounds. The place also have nice small garden and big roof terrance to walk / stay.

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. This place is a gem! The owner, Eduardo, and the team were absolutely lovely. So friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean, well stocked with kitchen equipment. The pool was very clean, breakfast was great, we saw so much wildlife just from the garden, sloths, iguanas, monkeys. It was just up the road from the beach, very near a couple of bars for dinner/ drinks. A calypso band played at the nearby Reggae bar one evening which was fantastic. Edwardo organised a couple of excursions for us to waterfalls and a snorkeling trip on the coral reef where we swam with Rays, a turtle, many fish. So pleased we came here.

Objekat Green Corner se nalazi u gradu Kauita, u regiji Limón, na 4 min. We loved staying in this incredible jungle hideout! It's in a beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by rainforest. We got to see so many animals just right outside our door. Our host was wonderful and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. This was my favorite place we stayed on our costa rica trip!

Objekat Japanese Room, Beautiful Cabin in the heart of Town je smešten u gradu Puerto Vijeho, na 4,2 km od znamenitosti Jaguar Rescue Center. U sklopu objekta su vam na raspolaganju vrt i terasa. This modern cabin was a great find—super clean and conveniently located in town. The host was extremely responsive, which made everything easy. Quiet, comfortable, and close to everything.
