This stay was a 15 out of 10. I just loved it. Great for families with 2 bedrooms, kitchen facilities, washing machine. I even made a fire at night in the fireplace. My hut was built in ranch style. You are surrounded by pastures and sheep/goats. The food at the hotel was great for dinner. Owner is active in the running of property and food comes from local sources. The location is great to chill and rest and or use as a base for the Samaria hike. Staying in the village is like a stay back to simpler times. LOVED IT. I even ate lots of apples from the Apple trees on site Yummy!

Main - hosts team, both Vana and her family, and Stephania, are great people, very helpful, made ourselves feeling like home. The best hosts in my experience so far. Answered any question, solved any problem we had during our stay. Apartment itself was a very good fit for our family of 3 adults + 1 infant. Very comfortable, plenty of space. Additional plus for dishwasher and daily service. Good beach nearby in Almyrida <1km away. Could be reached to without car, but for some people it may be hard to go back upstairs. But even with car it was easy to find parking place near the beach in the first half of August. Very good location, pretty similar distance to all main attractions on this part of island, small supermarkets and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. That rare case, that when going back to the Crete itself, I'll check this apartment first.

The apartment is lovely and recently renovated, with a unique and beautiful aesthetic. It was very clean, with thoughtful amenities and welcome gifts, such as some local grapes and spirits. We especially loved the air conditioning - the place was always cool, even in the middle of the day. The host was responsive and very welcoming. Would definitely come here again!

We had a fantastic stay in Crete! The view from the apartment was absolutely beautiful, having a pool and the barbecue area made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need for a long stay — including a washing machine, a dishwasher, and all the essentials for comfort. Our host Dimitris was wonderful: very hospitable, attentive, and always ready to help. He gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit, things to do, and local restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!
