Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

This place is stunning and spacious - it includes a gorgeous living room downstairs as well as the kitchen and bathroom. There is another seating area upstairs and the bedroom. It is also in the traditional Japanese style, which we love! The highlights for us though were two parts: First, the host is incredible! You cannot drive up to the house because the last road is too steep so he showed us where to park near the base and then drove us up in his bigger car. (He kindly did this again in the morning when we left, even though we had to leave very early!) Second, the view is incredible! It was a stunning way to start the day. Our only regret is we wish we'd stayed longer :)

Toyooka City History Museum에서 45km 거리에 있는 Japan's oldest remaining company housing에서는 에어컨, 파티오, 무료 Wi-Fi가 마련된 객실, 정원 등을 제공합니다. We fell in love with the house and the little town of Ikuno. The house was big and spacious for three people, also we enjoyed the kotatsu and the bathtub the most. The kitchen was also well equipped and the owner very responsive and friendly!
