The hosts were marvellous. I was travelling with my elderly parents, and we didn't have GPS, and unfortunately we got lost and couldn't find the gite. When we phoned, they very kindly arranged to meet us in Pompadour, and showed us the way. We were also quite a bit later than we had planned, but they were very patient with us and were able to be flexible, which was great. The gite itself was very nice and super clean, and just what we needed (2 bedrooms and a large kitchen/living room area with all amenities, including a decent coffee machine!). The place was really calm and peaceful as well. They were also very understanding when my mother unfortunately fell out of bed and broke the bedside table - we offered to pay and they were very relaxed about us leaving some money for it. Overall, it was their kindness that we will remember - we were very grateful that they were so nice and friendly, even though we arrived late and got lost on the way!
