The Opal Inn is only a 3-minute walk from the Umoona Opal Mine. It features free parking and an opal gift shop where guests receive a 10% discount. Only stayed the one night as we were just transiting through. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. On-site bistro & bar was good and handy being adjacent to the rooms.

Providing a garden, The Blacklighters Opal Retreat-Undergound offers accommodations in Coober Pedy. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Didn't like a thing! It was the worst place we stayed in our 3 week holiday. We stayed at another place in Coober Pedy on our way North, same price point, entirely different experience. Cannot recommend this place in any way!! There are much better places (at the same price) to stay in Coober Pedy. Do not stay here! It was cold, dirty, delapitated and owner could not be contacted. It was absolutely pot luck (& a kind neighbour) who knew where they left the key and was able to let us in.

Radeka Downunder Underground Motel is located in the center of Coober Pedy, on the town's main street. Facilities include a fully equipped communal kitchen and coin-operated laundry. The staff at reception were lovely and offered a great first impression for my first time in Coober Pedy. Location was also great and within walking distance of most of the town.

Desert Cave Hotel offers unique underground desert accommodations in Coober Pedy. You can also stay overground. There is an outdoor swimming pool and free parking. The location was perfect. Everything was close and did not need to use shuttle

Perfect place with really nice comfy beds. We all loved it. Such a beautiful place with a lovely bathroom and really nice beds. I would recommend anyone to get this one. We slept so nicely and it was really home. You guys have done such a great work.
