Almost Off Grid Tranquillity is a recently renovated guest house in Katherine where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden, and terrace. Thanks to host Billy we had a wonderfully relaxed stay. The converted shipping container as well as our own bathroom was fresh, clean and modern. Excellent meals; breakfast had a variety of options, fresh and tasty. Compliments to the chef! Our dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. We could have been eating in a five star restaurant!

The crew was extremely helpful even after the business hours. The parking lot was under the apartement, which was standing on 4 legs. There were a huge balcony. The shower was perfectly fitted - there was no flood when you got a shower. Air conditioning, ventilator, comfort and home-feeling.

Located in the heart of Katherine, most of the motel rooms have been refurbished and upgraded recently. three coworkers travelling together, a room each. we all agreed Katherine Motel is the cleanest Motel we have ever stayed in, including the grounds. awesome central location. the restaurant that is within the grounds is delcious and well priced. staff were friendly, accomodating and very helpful. we have booked our next two work trips to stay at Katherine Motel as well, very happy

But, the room was surprisingly nice. Comfortable bed, good bath and shower, private enclosed parking area if you are lucky to get a spot.
