This property shows pride of ownership. Our King bed room was all new inside. Very lovely linens, pillows and bed--we were super comfortable. It was quiet all night which made for a great sleep, internet worked well and the shower was good with lots of hot water. We had a fridge and microwave.
Definitely recommended.

It is a charming high desert town with massive history and stories to tell. The people are very friendly and the town is safe. There are sufficient goods and services for anything you will need. It is very clean and maintained with a strong sense of community pride.

Tonopah is an interesting town with several thing to see. The cemetery at the end of town is extremely interesting and the Clown Motel, which is next door. The Tonopah Station had a very good restaurant, Stage Stop Cafe, and very interesting items on display. The mine is also worth seeing.

Tonopah was a small Silver Mining town in its heyday until the silver ran out. The Air Force Found the flatness of the valley ideal as a base for training pilots. the stealth bomber was tested at night in this area to keep the project a secret. The town has a star gazing park where the surrounding light is limited in order to give you a spectacular view of the stars. we ate at the Mizpah restaurants but there are more in town. Getting around town is easy. Parking is free on the streets and most businesses have parking lots.

Tonopah might not be a destination but if you must stay, the town does offer the basics for fuel, lodging, food, and personal necessities. One historic building has been nicely converted into the very charming Hotel Belvada, a most unusual find in this part of the state. The Tonopah mining museum is huge, covering a large area with indoor and outdoor exhibits and hundreds of pieces of artifacts. The museum is a great place to spend a few hours.

Tonopah has a small local community in an isolated location in Nevada served by a road from Las Vegas towards Reno. It is known for the quality of star watching because it is in such an isolated spot. It is worth a look and there is a star gazing location sign posted from the centre of town if you want to get that spectacular view of the Milky Way!
It was like going back in time but it was more comfortable. The girl behind the desk was quick and knowledgeable and friendly. She had a sense of humor and she did her job well. I was surprised when I walked in the room it seemed more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. And of course it was centrally located downtown which is where all the action is. I headed over to the Tonopah brew pub and had a hamburger and it was excellent
The beds and pillows are beyond comfortable, one of the best night sleep I have ever had! The remodeled historic features are amazing, it’s such a beautiful hotel. I love the history, wanted to see a ghost, but unfortunately didn’t, but still a great stay. The staff was amazing, the front desk clerk was super helpful and friendly as was the bartender.
The TV in my room lost a fight with a previous tenant as it was damaged due to what looked like a fist. I called on it and was promptly given another room. Nice nostalgic hotel. Decor is really cool. The staff in general from the front desk to the restaurant were really nice, and the food was pretty good for the money.
Tonopah is an interesting town to spend an afternoon/evening in. This was our second stay at Tonopah station. The first time we came through a couple of years ago, it seemed charming. We also had our dog with us, and since they have no issues with dogs, it was a welcome change from our camper.
The Belvada is a great hotel. It was recently renovated and well done. It was warm, clean, dry, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The TV worked well, allowing us to relax before going to sleep. The bathroom was well appointed and clean.
Pleasant staff and a convenient location for a stopover after a long days drive. This hotel is modern and inexpensive for the location. A historic town with much history awaits if you are staying longer than an overnight.
I appreciated that they had rooms available. We had not planned on a hotel stay but due to the rainy weather of hurricane Hilary, roads were closed. Regardless, we were thankful n enjoyed our stay very much.
Thank you.
Comfy Beds. Clean modern room considering its an older facility. Better value than other hotels in the area. Great place to stay for a stop in tonopah when traveling from Vegas to Reno.
Did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.
A refurbished historic hotel, formerly a bank, with original vault doors & lots of memorabilia.
