Good central location, within walking distance to Battlesteads Pub/Observatory and short car journeys to Northumberland National Park and Hexham/Corbridge. Would stay again in the future!

The 2-bed ground floor apartment is big enough for 4 people and a dog, everything done to a very high standard and spotlessly clean, well stocked shop across the road and battlesteads pub just around the corner. Didn’t need the log burner as the apartment is really cosy anyways. Staff were around and always very friendly although we didn’t actually need them for anything. Will definitely rebook.

Easy walk to Battlesteads observatory and lots of interesting sights to visit within a short drive. Highly recommended and would certainly stay here again if we come back to the area.

The room was clean, tidy and large enough to be comfortable for a short stay. Dinner was delicious and they work hard to grow their own ingredients and also buy locally. They have a map to show you different walks in the local area. They are dog and walker friendly, even having a place to wash dirty boots and/or dogs outside.SSusanFamily with young children
