On this small-group guided tour, you’ll get to explore the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave in Belize and sample a traditional Belizean lunch with drinks. After being picked up from your hotel in San Ignacio, you’ll get a transfer to the location of the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave.
On arrival, you’ll be provided with a helmet, headlamp and life jacket. Thereafter, you can begin the 40-minute hike towards the cave, followed by a swim to enter the cave and then a walk through the main water passage. You can then spend three hours exploring the cave, which is known for its ancient Mayan artifacts and human skeletal remains.
After the cave excursion, you can enjoy a traditional Belizean lunch with alcoholic drinks and snacks, before being dropped-off to your hotel.
