On this tour starting from Munich towards Austria, you'll have the chance to explore the Lake District and walk in the footsteps of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. You'll get to take in views of Bavaria's largest lake, Chiemsee, before driving through the Chiemgau area, home to stunning views of the Lower Bavarian Alps.
Once you reach Salzburg, you'll have free time to shop and stroll around the city. You can also enjoy a boat ride on Lake Wolfgangsee to the White Horse Inn and the pilgrim church, before continuing on to the scenic Lake District. During your return journey to Munich, you'll travel past Lake Mondsee, where parts of the film 'The Sound of Music' were filmed.
