Inaugurated in 2017, the Elbphilharmonie concert venue has quickly become one of Hamburg's most famous landmarks. On this tour, you'll learn how a historical brick warehouse was topped with a new glass structure and a magnificent curved roof. Your guide will also share stories about the challenges during the ten-year-long construction period of the building.
You'll join your guide outside and continue towards the plaza located between the two parts of the building. After a long escalator ride, you'll receive priority access to the viewing platform. At the height of 121 feet above ground, you can take in 360-degree views over the city and its harbor.
You'll round up the experience at the on-site Störtebeker restaurant with a local snack and a cup of coffee. There, you'll get to taste a traditional Franzbrötchen – a sweet treat filled with cinnamon.
