This full-day guided tour will provide you with an opportunity to climb up the mountaintop fortress of Masada and take a swim in the mineral-rich Dead Sea.
Aboard an air-conditioned bus, you’ll travel from Herzliya through the Judean Desert toward Masada. As you climb the mountaintop in a cable car, your guide will tell you the history of the fortress – about King Herod and the Jewish Zealots who resisted the Romans.
Afterwards, you'll head to the Dead Sea. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Ein Gedi, a desert oasis with lush foliage and waterfalls. You’ll get to swim in the waters of the Dead Sea, which is almost tenfold saltier than the ocean. For a natural spa treatment, you can try applying mud to various parts of your body before going back into the water.

This tour offers a choice between a Business option (a group that can accommodate up to 22 people) and a Tour option (a group that can accommodate up to 40 people). These options differ only by group size.
A change of vehicle may be required at the pickup and drop-off destinations in order to save time and avoid traffic and delay.
Please bring swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, a towel and flip-flops.
Children aged 0–3 can join for free and do not need to be booked.
