On this three-hour walking tour, you’ll discover the charms of the seaside resort of Palanga. Rich in culture, the town is known for being the amber capital of Lithuania, and you’ll visit its Amber Museum, home to more than 29,000 pieces.
Your guide will take you to the beautiful botanical park, past a gothic church and up the green and leafy Birutė Hill. On the pedestrianized Jonas Basanavičius Street, you’ll find souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants and other attractions to explore. Before ending your sightseeing adventure, you’ll visit an amber workshop for a demonstration of the polishing process, and you’ll get to try the technique out yourself.
