On this day trip, you’ll explore the untamed beauty of the Danube Delta with its abundance of lakes, canals and the subtropical Letea Forest. You’ll set out early in the morning and cruise across several of the delta’s lakes and canals, passing spectacular scenery before arriving at Letea’s village. From here, you’ll explore the surrounding forest in a safari vehicle and go on a short hike. You’ll look out for the area’s unique flora and fauna like oaks growing in salty sand and wild horses.
Back in the village, you’ll make an optional trip for lunch to a local home where your hosts will treat you to simple, traditional cooking. For the final part of your experience, you’ll return to the boat and follow a different route back through the waterways.
