Staff were welcoming and really friendly. Was in a great location. Parts of the hotel were a little outdated, however current owners are making upgrades as they have just taken over. They were extremely friendly. Food was great and they couldn’t do enough.

Beautiful, comfy bedroom with beautiful views. Hosts are excellent, there when needed and unseen when not. Great rapport with guests. Good bathroom with a super warm & powerful shower. Breakfast was DELICIOUS cannot fault any element - we tried a couple of the options. So many walks around the area, we didn't move our car for the whole weekend.

Great Pub & Hotel. Run by Emily & Claire. Made to feel very welcome on every visit. Staff are great friendly & outgoing. Nothing is ever too much trouble . From the moment you walk through the door to leaving it's a lovely relaxing stay. Rooms are lovely & comfortable with everything you need. Food is lovely as well, very plentiful & reasonably priced. We love visiting the Wheatsheaf. And we can't wait to visit again in January. Keep up the good work we would not stay anywhere else
