The location is fine -- in an apartment in a vintner's property (there is no shortage of vintners in the area), above a wine cellar in one of the many cute little villages (Niedermorschwihr) on the Route des Vins d'Alsace. The vintner offered wine tastings. (We bought a couple bottles.) The elderly woman who owns the property (Georgette Weinzorn, I believe), was very friendly, and spoke fluent German as well as French. She was as accommodating as possible, providing us with extra towels, and even a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.

Traveled druring Christmas.The apartment is drivable to Colmar, Tukerheim, Requewihr, and other towns to see Christmas markets. The location is very good, surrounded by vineyards and mountains.
