We loved this homestay: as we stayed 3 nights, we were upgraded and we got the chance to stay in the best room (spacious, calm and comfortable). The breakfast and the dinner were plentiful and very tasty (our host Mary is a great cook). The location is just perfect if you want to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with Hallelujah Avatar Mountains (300m from the entrance).. Besides, our host speaks english and knows perfectly the Park.. not only she helped us to prepare our visit (tickets, maps and route), but she also helped us when we were lost..
Overall, we felt at home.. Mary, her little puppy and our driver made our stay unforgettable..

Yao made this an unforgettable stay for us! He got us tickets to the park, gave us a personalised route to hike, helped out with my birthday celebration, gave us the coolest ride to the park, arranged a taxi for us, and overall was really great to be around. Carol and her family are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help out (e.g. choosing spots to visit in the park, booking transportation, etc.). They offer in-house cooking that’s freshly made and also caters to vegetarian needs. It‘s also super delicious! Also, the Yangjiajie Ticket Office is less crowded than other entrances to the park, yet close to many sights.
