The hotel is conveniently located on our route to Bilbao, the dogs were welcome and inexpensive to add to the hotel bill (€5 each), the food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff welcoming. Thanks guys for a super stopover.

Perfect for an overnight stop. Very friendly staff. Food until late from the restaurant that is part of the hotel. Pet friendly, next to a big park for walks.

Location excellent for travelling to ferry from Southern Spain. Great staff who are extremely friendly and efficient. Breakfast good value also evening meal very good, traditional local food. Very old restored building which the owners have retained many of the original features.
Free parking outside building. No hesitation in recommending this hostal.

Only one chair for two people.

Being a coach stop was surprisingly quiet as our room not at front .

Buniel is a mixture of new housing and very run-down older buildings. You would not want to visit this very small town with little commerce except for the hotel! Burgos, nearby, is definitely worth visiting.
