“I had a lovely stay at the Lancaster, everything was to a very high standard and the staff really made you feel special, top marks!”
“I like the bed, the staff and food. Internet was good. Sraff who was more Helpful was Delia”
“Great location, very close to the tube for the trip”
“Everything, staff, views, location.”
“Nice hotel with great location”
“Fantastic hotel in a very convenient location - 5 mins walk to tube station, shops and restaurants etc. Cannot fault it.”
“Very friendly & welcoming staff. Able to store luggage once departed & collect later”
“Staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“We stayed in the Winston Churchill suite. It was amazing! Hugh excellent views and butler service. (Didn't know what to do with a butler). This property was on my bucket list. The box is ticked and I'd come back. It is very pricey!”
“The service level and the friendliness by all staff surpassed anything we have tried anywhere else. And of course the whole setting is magnificent”
“Total fabulosity - we have found our new annual pre Christmas retreat - loved everything about it. The staff were equally amazing. We were made to feel very special. Thank you to everyone at The Dorchester for making sure we had such a memorable first time experience with you.our first of many, we hope”
“Location was superb, staff friendly and efficient, rooms small and very well organised, excellent complimentary wine & cheese buffet”
“What a great find! Firstly the hotels appearance is great down to every minor detail. We loved how the hotel was bespoke and decorated very differently to your average hotels. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the tube. We were going to head into the centre of London on the evening but when we looked at the pull out map that the hotel gave us we couldn't believe how many bars and restaurants were in walking distance. We has a fantastic evening walking to some of the bars off the recommended list and was not disappointed by any of them! This hotel was amazing value for money and I would highly recommend it!”
“From the moment you walked out of the lift to the reception you were greet by all staff members and made to feel totally at home as if you were there many times before although this was our first time ,the rooms were very large classic twin the whole experience was out standing”
“Dinner comped because of noisy room”
“This hotel location really works for me, as I regularly visit an office near Victoria station. It's about 1 minute walk to Victoria, and 15 minutes walk to Big Ben. Staff are really friendly and social. Room is small but contemporary, clean and well thought out. Bed really comfy. I love the cheese and wine 'party' held every evening :o) Great value, excellent hotel in central London. I'll be back...again.”
“Near three tube stops, around the corner from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, and easily reachable from London City Airport, this hotel is extremely convenient for exploring central London. Staff were friendly, rooms small but generally comfortable, and the place overall quiet.”
“We chose a city hotel because we like the location, It can be a fair distance to walk into central london but their are plenty buses not 5 minutes away . When booking i requested a high floor with a view as it was my wifes birthday ,[ You dont ask you don't get.] Surprise, we were upgraded to the top floor with a view of Tower Bridge. The hotel is very nice. The staff could not do enough for you from the doorman ,reception and restaurant staff. 4 Star yes.”
“The hotel is centrally located beside the Tower of London and only 8 miles from London City Airport. The hotel's rooftop bar is worth visiting and boasts great views of London Tower and bridge.”
“The bed was comfortable and the room was really spacious. The hotel is located in a nice district, although it takes 10-15 minutes to get to the nearest train station (Crystal Palace). There is a number of old-fashioned pubs and good-value-for-money restaurants. It takes a 30-50 to get to the city center, but there are direct trains to London Bridge and London Victoria.”
