Everything really. happy, friendly staff. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, fresh, and organic food. Tim was an entertaining and delightful host, and we enjoyed his tour of the organic farm.

The stable was cosy and quirky in a fabulous way! Loved the rural setting, beautiful garden, beautiful deck, adored the sheep at the end of garden. What a stunning place to relax and unwind. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

Our room was exceptionally clean with all facilities available including a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We had a room on the first floor and had lovely views over Coate Water which made for a very quiet, restful break. The shower was brilliant and so much better than ours at home, with loads of hot water and lovely clean, fluffy towels. Bed was very comfortable although the pillows weren’t the best, but were adequate. Had a meal in the restaurant one evening with friends and we all enjoyed what we had ordered with good sized portions, well presented and well cooked at a very reasonable price. Fine dining it isn’t but if you enjoy plain, wholesome food and decent surroundings you won’t be disappointed. Bar staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. All in all a very cost effective little hotel, with none of the bells and whistles of some of the big chain hotels but we enjoyed our stay were well impressed with it.
