Mariella and Carlos are friendly and obliging hosts and their home is an historic house with a special history and unique charm that's been in the family for generations. It was a pleasure to meet them. Leni is a little village and one gets to know the locals a bit in a short time. I ate at a new little kitchen close by run by Enzo and it was homely and delicious. The local wines are wonderful and the capers and lemons! There are some lovely walks nearby. I would love to stay longer.

If you’re coming to Salina (which you should) you have to stay at Le Casette di Malfa. Our house was even better than what we dreamed of, the terrace has the best view of the whole island, not to mention the breathtaking sunset. We loved our house so much we hardly ever went out for dinner so as to enjoy the views. Totò is a wonderful host, he gave us lots of useful information about the island, and was always extremely welcoming and kind. There is also a bus just around the corner that takes you to everywhere on the island. We will miss Le Casette di Malfa, and we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely and spacious house strategically located in the heart of Malfa. The most beautiful beach on the island is just a 10 minute walk from the house. A supermarket and other local shops are also within walking distance. On top of that, Michael (the host) is super kind and always ready to help. Really looking forward to staying at La Palmas soon!
