Having never heard of this brand before (I later realized it’s quite prominent in the Middle East), we didn’t know what to expect, especially given the low cost. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of service and facilities. I keep likening it to a Marriott-standard resort, but at budget hotel pricing. The hotel was undergoing significant construction in one of the front buildings without informing guests in advance. So, we were surprised to find the entire lobby torn down when we walked out a day later. It didn’t affect our stay and the noise didn’t carry over to our room, but it was a somewhat amusing experience. Overall, it was a very good stay. Future guests can rest assured - you’re likely to have a great experience

This historic hotel is a luxury landmark built in 1886 in distinctive authentic Victorian style. The staff, so kind, genuine and professional. From the first moment when Mr Mohammed welcomed me so beautifully, I was made to feel absolutely at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is stunning. The good was alo exceptional. The whole experience was simply magical.

Overall great impression: new and well maintained ship, friendly staff. Great family rooms on the upper deck. The restaurant exceeded our expectations: the food was very tasty, big portions, nicely decorated, the waiters were very attentive. We were lucky that the ship was not fully booked on our dates, so the attitude was very personal. Fantastic tour guide! The excursions were interesting both for adults and children.
