Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

FABULOUS place to stay! We wish we could’ve stayed longer! Beautiful and luxurious accommodations, clean and comfortable. I must say that there’s nothing we didn’t like! Excellent food at the Rooster Cafe.

The location was amazing & the cottages were perfect for a large family with ample space. The beds were comfy. The swimming pool was a great bonus as the grandchildren spent hours in it & the size is brilliant.

Swimming pool was a real treat and the best we’ve ever had in a property of this style. Host was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

Renovated in 2023, this historic hotel lies within 300 acres of private parkland, a 10-minute drive from Derby. It has a spa, 18-hole golf courses, an indoor pool, and a fitness area. The hotel is amazing, I only wish i could have stqyed longer.
