What an adorable gem! Lovely house in Capitol hill, even much more than the pictures can tell. You can walk through the house for hours taking pictures of all the lovely details. Thats what old american houses should look like and everything is in perfect condition! They gave us their best room, so we could enjoy our own fireplace and bathroom. Amazing host family! You have your privacy if you want to, but the two big common areas (both with fireplaces) are great for hanging out, having a glas of beer or wine and have good conversations. This hotel was a bit expensive than what I usually book, and it showed in daily room service. I appreciated complimentary tea - black and camomile, as I don't drink coffee. They also provided body lotion besides shampoo and conditioner. My room was facing street side, but the glass door was blocking the noise. The heater was functional and I could warm myself up in the evening. They provided kettle and cutlery when I asked.
