It is exactly our kind of hotel and area. The owners of the hotel, Fabricio and Patricia, and their Augustina, were some of the most hospitable people you could hope to meet. Fabricio worked his whole life in National Parks across Argentina and has good knowledge of the birds and local wildlife, if you have any questions, go to him! They will help arrange anything you need (boat tours, walking tours, transfers) and look after you like you are family. The vibe generally is very relaxed, there is a swimming pool to cool off on hot summer afternoons, and a BBQ area if you want to cook at the property. Breakfast is great, with delicious home made jams and marmalades as well as toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, freshly squeezed juice, coffee etc. The reserve is just a gem. Not too many tourists and loads and loads of wildlife.

The daily activities were relaxing, educational and the enormity of the Esteros really is something to behold.
