The Lodge is simply put a perfect place. It is as good as in the pictures and better. The kitchen has just about every equipment that you can think of. The two living rooms are nice and spacious and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Also the entire Lay-out is smart because the bedrooms are located well away from the living rooms so everyone gets a good night sleep. At night it is absolutely quiet due to the beautiful location in a forest. The outdoor hot tub is just brillant to recover from a hike in the nearby Loch Lomund National Park or to gaze at some stars at night. If you enjoy baking pizza the oven gives you the chance to a achieve restaurant quality results. The hosts Claire and Alick are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have absolutely everything you need during your stay. They gave us a super warm welcome, provided us with tons of firewood at no extra cost and helped us with any question we had. Our group would 100% recommend this place and also thinks it is crazy good value for the price!

The house was beautiful, rooms clean, and there was an ensuite in each room. The living room was a fantastic social space. There was great communication, and responses were prompt and pleasant. Checking-in was easy, and we had a great time!

Beautiful setting, amazing hosts, and the hut had everything you could want and way more. Amazing welcome hamper, lovely hot tub, fire pit, and the pizza oven was great. A lot of very nice personal touches, would highly recommended to anyone.

Our 2nd stay at this place within a space of a few days. Very comfortable which is why we came back. Nice rooms 2 twin rooms and 1 with double bed. All proper rooms with proper beds. Comfortable lounge/diner. Good kitchen with good set of utensils. Washer and dryer.

Absolutely great location to explore central Scotland, the fact that it is self catering is really handy the cottage itself is cozy and feels homely when there, the host is one in a million, 1 in 2 million, because I would have to say Bill was 1 in a million. I had some bike issues catastrophic actually, both Rita and Bill couldn’t have done anymore for me in getting sorted. Really appreciated THANK YOU SO MUCH

My partner and I visited The Bothy for three nights with our two dogs and we can’t wait to come back. There was a Hot tub ready for us on arrival/ robes and the fire inside was a great feature. Just outside the property we had access to a lovely walking route, which was so handy with having dogs (remember your wellies!) Also we loved your style! You can tell a lot of hard work has went into it. We would recommend the walk to Loch Rusky just across the road and Ben Gullipen.
