The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

Amazing place! Right in the middle of Stirling. Wrote to Richard a few weeks before arrival to see if we could check-in a little before normal and that was no problem. Richard even suggested that we visited Cambuskenneth Abbey because we are from Denmark and a Danish queen is buried there, so we did. The Breakfast was really good and cooked on order when we came down to the dining room. The rooms are nice and very clean and room 2 has a spectacular view to the National Wallace Monument. Don´t miss this place and we will certainly stay here again should we ever visit Stirling again.

Sweet and cozy place, nicely decorated, with attention to every tiny thing. Our host, Muriel, was very friendly and welcoming. She even prepared us packed breakfast for take away, because we had to leave very early in the morning.

Located in Rob Roy country, beneath the famous Crags, The Knowe provides excellent accommodation to all types of travellers The guest house has many original Victorian and Edwardian features, and... A five-star experience. We were greeted at the door, helped to our room, and even had a local dinner spot called and a table reserved by the time we were settled in. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The Abbotsford is a spacious Victorian property, refurbished in a contemporary style. It was featured as one of the top 10 bed and breakfasts in GB by Yours magazine. Beautiful property and stylish rooms. Much nicer than I expected. I almost felt bad bringing my teenagers.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn House Callander. The room was spacious and bright and beautifully designed with attention to details - hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener provided (decaff version as well). The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating and even invited us to have some carrot cake before we checked out. The bathroom was big, super clean and modern with hot water and clean towels. We felt like home 😊. Totally recommend it.
