Set within the medieval city walls of Füssen, the Old Kings Design Hostel offers individually themed rooms. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and free WiFi is provided. The hostel is located in a townhouse between the city hall and the Franciscan monastery.

The location was in the heart of town and only 5 minutes walking distance from the bus& train station, which was very convenient. It was clean, well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a cozy dining room with good Wi-Fi.

My Hostel Füssen is situated in Füssen, 600 metres from Old Monastery St. Mang and 600 metres from Staatsgalerie im Hohen Schloss. The property is around 4.7 km from Neuschwanstein Castle, 15 km from Train Station Reutte in Tyrol and 35 km from Train Station Lermoos. The property is non-smoking and is set 600 metres from Museum of Füssen.

I stayed for 3 nights and it was great! The room was big, beds are comfy, it's not crazy loud at night. Even though it's a shared bathroom, there's plenty of bathrooms available so I never had any issues. The wifi worked great and it's super close to downtown with a short bus ride to the castles. I would stay here again!

This hostel in west Füssen is a 10-minute walk from the historic St. Mang’s Abbey and Füssen Train Station. Laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi are offered.

Rooms at the Jugendherberge Füssen Hostel offer wooden furnishings. The dormitory-style accommodation comes with a shared bathroom in the hall.

The price was good especially in comparison with all the other overpriced places in Füssen because of the tourists. You also get a breakfast and it is very nice. Those are dorms and my friend and I got very lucky with being alone in the room of 6 beds, otherwise I might have liked it a lot less. The place was full of loud teenagers that I can't see myself sharing a room with. Also rooms don't lock. Showers were particularly a pleasant surprise, nice water pressure, a compartment that locks that also includes a place to change and put your stuff on a shelf and hooks to hang your clothes and towels. But I would stay there again. Especially if if I can come back in a group of 4 people - as you can book your own room.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This is one of the nicest youth hostels imaginable. Due to Covid, I had the entire room (multiple bunk beds) to myself.
