Great location, nice facilities including a fully-equipped kitchen and lounge, free tea and coffee all day, the staff was lovely, especially Camila at the reception. Rooms are ample and though there was only one shower room there were plenty of showers and it was very clean

The dorms are spacious, with nice, comfy bunk beds. The toilets and showers are clean. And of course Richard. A gem of a person who makes you feel at home in minutes. He has got great sense of humor and can help you with any info regarding Oban and the isles around. We also met Venezia there who was very helpful. Will definitely visit them again on our next trip.

It's basic, for example, no TV, no kettle or tea making in the room and only one bedside lamp. However, we had an excellent shower, clean towels and bedding, and the room was warm and cosy.

When I mentioned this was my first time, I was given a mini tour of the kitchen by a lovely member of staff who gave me a rundown of the way things work in youth hostels. I felt very safe.
