Set in Lammhult, 38 km from Växjö station, Asa Vandrarhem offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The host, Anna, was truly nice and personable. Rooms were simple but fresh and clean and the atmosphere was great. There is a nice sauna to rent for cheap just by the lake which we made good use of.

We went to bed with a last glance to the starlit sky over the lake. Woke up with a peaceful view on the lake, went for a swim on the beach two steps away from the hostel, had breakfast outside in this wonderful setting. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel.
