Our whole family is involved with The Riverhouse and our other property @sultanamclarenvale. Amo is the garden guru and lawn lover, Marie is the laundry goddess and Lucy the best bed maker you'll find. You'll find me filling the gaps and cleaning, styling, stressing over social media and loving everything about hospitality. Having been in tourism accommodation for the past 30 years, we have a wonderful knowledge and understanding of what guests want and need. We anticipate and plan meticulously for your visit and can't want to welcome you. Generally we stay in the background and communicate solely through the app but if you need us we are absolutely available.

Goolwa is at the tail end of the Murray River, where it meets the Southern Ocean. Perfect for sailing, fishing, water skiing. Just a short drive from Goolwa Beach, we are spoilt for views, nature based activities and cafe's, restaurants and shopping. An easy 3km bicycle ride along the Encounter bikeway, on our free bikes, has you in town sipping a coffee and enjoying a generous brunch. Further afield is the iconic Port Elliot, Horseshoe Bay and the unmissable bakery. Even a little further down the road is Victor Harbor, the wineries of McLaren Vale or Langhorne Creek and more markets than you could hope to find.
